Are You Getting All the Benefits You’re Entitled To?

When money feels tight every penny counts. Many families in the UK are missing out on benefits they could be claiming, including child benefits, pension credits, and Universal Credit. Sometimes it’s because people don’t know what they can claim, or it feels too hard to apply. The truth is taking a few minutes could make a big difference to your income each month.

At Moneyline, we want to help you make the most of what’s available. That’s why we’ve teamed up with  InBest, a simple online benefit calculator that shows you what  benefitsyou could be entitled to. It includes all benefits you may be eligible for including child benefits and pension credits.

Why It’s Worth Checking What You Can Claim

Even if you’re working, you might still be able to get extra help. There are lots of different benefits that can boost your income or help pay for essentials like rent, food, and childcare.

You could be missing out on:

  • Child Benefit– for parents or guardians who care for children under 16 (or under 20 if they’re in education or training).
  • Universal Credit – if your income is low or you’re out of work.
  • Housing Benefit – to help with rent if you’re on a low income.
  • Council Tax Reduction – which could cut your monthly bill.
  • Pension Credit – which could help if you are a pensioner on low income

Every situation is different, so even if you think you won’t qualify, it’s worth checking.

Is there a 2 child cap on Child Benefit?

The 2 child cap is on child tax credit, not on child benefit. You can claim child benefit for all your children although there are certain restrictions (level of income, if they are in full time education, age). The benefits calculator can guide you through this.
