Father’s Day treats don’t need to cost a lot. There are plenty of gifts out there which don’t cost a fortune, if you have the time to look of course! We’ve pulled together some ideas for you to save you the effort.
We bet your dad very rarely, if ever, get’s to eat a home cooked breakfast in bed. Wake up an hour early and rustle up a breakfast for him to wake up to. It doesn’t have to be a full English, a simple bacon sandwich and a brew would be a great start to Father’s Day.
Alternatively, Morrisons are offering a ‘Big Daddy breakfast’ for just £5 this Father’s Day! A fry up made up of 19 items, perfect if your dad loves a full English! Just get down to your nearest Morrisons café on Sunday morning (16th June 2019).
If your dad has a sweet tooth why not bake him a cake. He’ll appreciate the effort and it’s something the whole family can enjoy.
There are plenty of offers flying around for you to take advantage of and treat your dad to a meal out. Something he might not always get the opportunity to do. Here are some great deals we’ve found;
Available on the 15th & 16th June, Hungry Horse is offering some great dishes including some Big Plate Specials and a Quadzilla Burger Challenge. Plus if you book and buy a main meal your dad will get a free drink!
Also available across the Father’s Day weekend, Harvester is offering a free drink when you download the Harvester app and buy a three-course meal from the Father’s Day set menu. Just book your table and show the waiter your in-app voucher.
If you book a table for after 6pm your dad can claim a ‘free’ main meal! If someone else at the table orders a full-price main meal then he can claim his ‘free’ main. Again, you’ll need to download the Harvester app and register to get your voucher.
Similar to Harvester, Toby Carvery is offering a ‘free’ main for dad after 6pm when you purchase one full-price main. Download the Toby Carvery app and register your details to qualify. The offer includes plenty of options from fish to seasonal specials as well as the carvery option.
If any of these sound tempting to you act fast as they’re sure to be very popular across the weekend!
