10 Easy Easter Activities

Not sure how to keep the kids busy this Easter. Here we have 10 easy Easter activities that are fun for both adults and children.

1. Easter egg hunt

You don’t need the weather to be good for this one. Hide some eggs in the house or around the garden and watch them go.

2. Bake some Easter goodies

Let the kids get messy and bake some simple treats like these Easter nest cakes. Once they are done and everything’s cleaned away, you can both have fun eating them.

3. Hold an egg & spoon race

Just like the one at the school sports day, why not recreate this at home in the garden.
Plastic eggs can be bought cheaply from the poundshop and use your own dessert spoons.
The winner is the person to cross the line 1st without dropping the egg.

4. Play bunny tag

A simple game that will keep the kids both big and small entertained.

Choose 1 person to be the farmer and everyone else are the bunnies.

The bunnies have to hop around and the farmer has to walk to catch them. If a bunny gets caught, they have to sit on the floor with their hand on their head making bunny ears.

5. Make Easter cards

Why not get the craft box out and make some Easter cards together? It’s a simple activity that everyone will enjoy, and then the cards can be sent to people once they are finished.

6. Pin the tail on the bunny

Just like the classic game, but with an Easter twist. Either draw or print an Easter bunny making sure the tail area is visible. Then cut out some circles on white card and glue some cotton wool on.

Players are then blindfolded and take it in turns to stick their tail to the bunny using blu-tack.

7. Paper plate chicks or bunnies

Paper plate chicks or bunnies are really easy to make and you only need a few items.
Turn it into a competition to see who can make the best chick or bunny!

8. Easter Food

Why not make a new Easter tradition and cook a fun and simple breakfast together? These Easter bunny pancakes are very easy to make and both kids and adults will love them.

9. Decorate an Easter wreath

Easter wreaths can be really easy to make and can really brighten up your front door or living area.

This cupcake wrapper wreath only has 5 steps to make it, and is suitable for cildren of all ages.

10. Read an Easter book together

An Easter activity doesn’t get much easier than sitting down and reading a book together. This Hot Cross Bunny story is only £2 from The Works helping to create a little Easter magic.
